Repeat Prescriptions

To order your prescription please email: Prescriptions.hmc@nhs.net

Due to Covid, we have changed our prescription request received by the practice to minimize the risk of getting paper prescription through.

Please order you repeat prescription 48 hours in advance. This can be done in the following ways:

  • Electronic Prescribing Via your usual Pharmacy, please contact your pharmacy and they will email on your behalf
  • Online via NHS APP, you need to create an account first by calling us
  • Paper prescription - please try and keep this request as minimum as possible to protect us and to protect yourself and please request via other 2 options

If you wish for your repeat prescription to be returned to you by post, please send a S.A.E to the practice.

Please note: We do not accept requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner, pharmacist or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
